Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturiser With Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin E Review 2021

Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturizer With Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin E Review 2021

Ponds has been in the market for a long time, and to be honest, I have never been a fan of their products. But that all has changed after they launched Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturizer With Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin E.
Even though my best friend recommended Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturizer, I was still hesitant to try it out because I did not expect much from the product. But after hesitating a lot, I finally decided to give it a try, and I am glad I gave it a chance.

Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturizer With Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin E Review

Plum Green Tea Night Gel is my holy grail when it comes to gel moisturizers. But the reason Ponds super light gel intrigued me was because of its affordability.

Packaging

The ponds moisturizer comes in flat round plastic packaging. The packaging is pretty sleek and cute. The sturdy screw lid makes the gel tub spill proof, and overall it’s very sturdy travel-friendly packaging. But I would still recommend not to peel off the seal completely because the consistency of the gel might make it a little hard to handle.

Texture

The texture is my favorite thing about the product. The consistency is almost similar to Plum Green Tea Night Gel, but Ponds super light gel is more watery than Plum. Ponds gel is very lightweight, and it spreads well when you apply it to your face. The gel is fast-absorbing and non-greasy.

My Overall experience with Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free Moisturizer

Ponds Super Light Gel piqued my interest because it is super affordable, the texture is super lightweight and formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E.
And I am glad that I got this product. Because it did turn out to be a good moisturizer, it contains a lot of humectants, and to top it off the moisturizer also has Niacinamide which has anti-acne and skin-brightening properties.
I have been using this product for a couple of months now, and I love using the product. The only thing I dislike about the product is the fragrance. It’s not like the smell is overwhelming or anything. I prefer fragrance-free skincare products.
The product did not break me out even though I have sensitive skin. So it is a good moisturizer, but it doesn’t give any other skin benefit other than hydration, even though it contains Niacinamide. Well at least i didnt find any noticable difference.
The product holds up to its claim to be a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer, and it does leave skin soft, with a water-fresh glow after application. The gel claims to be for all seasons, but it does not hold up to that claim. It works best as a daytime moisturizer for summer and monsoon. The gel keeps you hydrated for 6 to 8 hours.
I also like wearing this moisturizer underneath my foundation because it keeps me well hydrated and gives me a smooth canvas to apply my foundation.
To sum it up, I love using the moisturizer, and I keep repurchasing this pond’s moisturizer. It’s inexpensive, gives me balanced hydration, and doesn’t break me out. So if you are looking forward to trying this product go for it.
