Here’s the sneak peek of Comic-con at Home 2020 Edition: Day 3. Who would have thought that the biggest event for movies and tv shows would now be held online! SDCC is known for Directors and Stars announcing their projects among the crowded cosplayers.
But this year, due to the global pandemic, Organizers planned Comic-Con at Home, a virtual version of the event. The panels usually reveal long-awaited teasers, trailers, and news tidbits from the entertainment world.
Comic-Con at Home 2020: Day 3
Searchlight Pictures released the final trailer for Antlers, produced by Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Shape of the Water) and directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Black Mass). It offers a glimpse of the Wendigo, the Native American myth that torments Keri Russell in her small town. This horror film will be in theaters February 19, 2021.
For All Mankind (Season 2)
For All Mankind was one of the most expensive shows of Apple TV+ launched in November, takes place in an alternate history where Russia is ahead of the U.S in the space race.
The trailer for season two promises more scenes on the moon as U.S. astronauts battle cosmonauts, and more aerial dogfights in Earth’s atmosphere. For All Mankind season two is coming soon to Apple TV+.
Rick and Morty (Season 5)
Adult Swim shared an early sketches of the new season of Rick and Morty, as the animation isn’t finished yet, showing Morty (Justin Roiland) carrying a bleeding, dying Rick (Roiland).
They escape a hostile planet and get a peek at their badass adventures in an alternate universe. Season 5 is coming soon to Adult Swim.
Fox released the trailer to their cyber-thriller NeXt. From Executive producers Manny Coto (Dexter, 24: Live Another Day), Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (Crazy Stupid Love, Focus), starring John Slattery (Mad Men, Iron Man 2) plays a tech giant who teams up with Cyber Crime Task Force against an artificial intelligence out of control. NeXt premieres October 6 on Fox.
