Along with these families, there is a group of people who call themselves “Sic Mundus”, who defy the boundaries of time and they have their wicked aspirations. The plot revolves in the cycle of 33 years. As 1953, 1986, 2019 these three years are intertwined with the plot and developments of the characters. But the plot even goes as far back as 1920 in the past and as further as 2052 in the future. As the characters delve in those timelines they unfold new mysteries.

The thing to keep in mind before binge-watching the show that here time is not connected linearly, it revolves in a circle. So the occurrences don’t follow a linear chronology, rather they all influence each other in a never-ending circle. Our contemporary understanding of time tells us that only the past affects the future because time is linear, but here not just the past paves the way for the future, but the past can also be affected by the future. Because when a character goes back in time the present that they left behind becomes their respective past.
