After the encounter with legendary dragon Pokémon Reshiram, Pokémon trainers will get chance to challenge the legendary black dragon Pokémon Zekrom. Which was the game mascot of Pokémon White, appearing on the boxart during the release of Pokémon Black and White. It is a dual-type Dragon/Electric Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation V. Along with Reshiram and Kyurem, it is a member of the Tao trio, which exists in the legends of the Unova Region.
Zekrom will start appearing in tier 5 raids from Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). There will be raids hours every Wednesday featuring Zekrom, i.e. June 17, June 24 and July 1. During that time Zekrom raids will appear more frequently than normal from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Ground-, Ice-, Dragon-, and Fairy-type Pokémon will be most effective counters.

Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research

Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research
Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research will be available to only those trainers who have previously completed all four Timed Research lines.
These Trainers will join Professor Willow to rediscover Pokémon originally found in the Unova region and meet Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region as they make their Pokémon GO debut.
Pokémon Trainers who will complete all four sets of tasks in this Special Research will get five Rare Candies, reward encounters with Galarian Meowth, Galarian Stunfisk, and Genesect and Professor Willow’s glasses which will be an exclusive avatar item! Unlike the previous sets of Timed Research, this Special Research won’t be time-limited and can be unlocked and completed at any time.
No need to worry trainers if you couldn’t complete all the previous Timed Research lines. If you are one of them then you’ll be able to purchase a ticket for the Throwback Challenge Celebration 2020 Special Research in the shop. This will grant you the same tasks and rewards as the Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research.
If you already have access to Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research and while at it if you buy a ticket for the Throwback Challenge Celebration 2020 Special Research from the shop then your purchased Throwback Challenge Celebration 2020 Special Research rewards will be slightly different. Each time you will be encountering a Pokémon as a reward, instead you will earn 10 candies for that Pokémon . And instead of Professor Willow’s glasses you will earn Stardust. Which doesn’t look that bad as the Pokémon you will be encountering throughout these challenges are scarce in the wild.
