What Is Hummus?
Hummus is a spread or dip made from chickpeas that belongs to the Middle East and has gained popularity in several other parts of the world. Hummus recipes can be easily made at home.
The world “Hummus” means Chickpeas in Arabic. It is high in protein and low in calorie and sugar, it is usually enjoyed with Flat Or Pita Bread & Falafel(Middle Eastern Snacks). I usually eat hummus with chicken Salads.

Easy Hummus Recipe
The ingredients required are Chickpeas, Sesame Seed, Salt & Olive Oil. Soak the chickpeas overnight and next day pressure cook, them until they become soft, take a mixer grinder, add the boiled chickpeas followed by sesame seed & extra virgin olive oil. Grind them into a coarse paste with the help of little water and mix well.
You can adjust the consistency according to your preference, whether you like it thick or think. After that, add salt according to your taste and while serving, garnish it with fresh coriander leaves, dash of olive oil, and a little sprinkle of red chili powder.
